But to keep yourself active and to fulfill your needs you need to move up and down the stairs. The first option to move up and down the stairs is to use a stair lift. But most of the time, these costs so much that many cannot afford them. This is when the stair lift rental comes into being. It is a great alternative to buying one. It either uses electricity to run or is battery operated. It uses heavy materials like aluminum and steel and hence is a secured product. Other than this there a quite a lot of stair lift rental products that are available in the market. The main difference between them is the way they work and the facilities that they offer. Methods which are used by the stair lift rental to transport a person up the stairs are screw method or the rack and pinion method, cable method, and chain method.
The stair parts, then, is very important for all who uses it. We may hire professional stair makers or craftsmen to create the most perfect stairs that we wish from. An inexperienced stair maker can jeopardize the quality of the stairs and in turn, turn our dream homes into nightmare. We can use different materials in making the stair parts. First of all is wood. Wooden stairs create a very beautiful ambiance for any home. It also poses safety and practicality to its users since it is not slippery and is comparably softer than concrete. But, the type of wood is also very important. There are a lot of wood types and not all of them are strong. We must pick a high quality wood to fit the stairs and will last almost a lifetime.
The first stringer can be laid on the floor using blocks and one end of each riser is attached to each bracket so that the risers are in a vertical position in relation to the stringer. The risers are attached to each bracket using blind screws through the holes in the brackets. The second stringer is then positioned over the opposite ends of the risers and attached. A clamp may be used to pull the stringers tight against the riser ends. This one step will eliminate up to 80% of the custom fitting normally required for conventional stairs.
